QualDrop TEST SOLUTION 90ml 250 ΜS/Cm 25°C

Test Solution is a solution with a specific conductivity of approx. 250 uS at 25 ° C and is used to check the correct indications of popular conductivity meters used in aquariums.

Execution instructions

First of all, before you check / calibrate the meter, replace the battery with a new one.
The measuring part of the meter (electrodes, temperature sensor) must be completely clean and dry before measuring. The meter electrodes must not have deposits or other dirt. Bring the Test Solution to 25 O C ± 0.2 O. It is preferable to check the temperature with any accurate thermometer.
Immerse the measuring part of the meter in the solution. Move the meter a few times, making sure that there are no air bubbles in the measuring part. Wait a few minutes for the temperature to stabilize on the meter display
Check the meter readings. If the meter reading at 25 O C ± 0.2 OC is in the range of 240-260 uS, the value can be considered correct. Otherwise, calibrate according to the meter instructions.
After completing the check / calibration, thoroughly rinse the measuring part of the meter under running water and then with RO water.

WARNING!

Please make sure that the checked / calibrated meter is dry and does not contain traces of water. Otherwise, the Test Solution may be contaminated, which will result in incorrect calibration and incorrect meter readings. Test Solution accuracy is around 4%. When checking / calibrating, Test Solution must be as accurate as possible at 25 O C ± 0.2 OC.
