NEO Media filter cartridges were created after 5 years of research of a group of scientists, whose goal was to create the best biological cartridge, containing the highest level of micropores in the world.
NEO MEDIA inserts offer the largest area in relation to volume, up to 4000m2 / l. Such a factor is far out of reach, even of the best competition (SIPORAX 270m2 / l, Substrate PRO 450m2 / l).

The NEO MEDIA PURE refill does not raise the pH of a slightly acidic aquarium and does not lower the pH of a slightly alkaline aquarium. Suitable for all aquariums such as plant, shrimp, malawi, tanganyika and marine even with SPS corals.

The NEO MEDIA Pure refill does not change the pH value, maintaining it at 6 ~ 7. In addition, NEO MEDIA cartridges come in three varieties: PURE, SOFT and HARD, which in turn: do not change the pH, soften the water and harden the water.

The production process together with the structure of the fibers allowed creating an insert that has different pore sizes, allowing settlement and rapid development of various types of bacteria responsible for the transformation of harmful matter.
